FAQ

How much do you charge for photography?

In New York City, San Juan Puerto Rico, and most of the rest of the United States, my rates start at $2500 per day, plus production expenses and fees. I normally have a one-day minimum. So a basic photo shoot on location, with a small crew, including grip assistant and stylist, with minimal post-production retouching, usually adds up to $3000-4000 per day. Add in models, extra stylists, location fees, set building, special equipment, helicopter, and difficult travel, and the costs obviously increase.

Often, for very straightforward jobs close to home, on a flexible schedule, for clients I have a friendly working relationship with, or for editorial or magazine assignments, the photographer assignment rate can be decreased from $2500 to around $1800. We can also sometimes save money on crew if the location lighting needs are minimal.
